Authors
At Salvatella we take care over choosing the authors of the books we publish, ensuring that they are exceptionally well positioned to respond both to the needs of children and of parents and educators. We shall introduce some of them below.

Teresa Sabaté
Originally from Lérida, a primary teacher, she has always combined teaching with writing. Her work made her realise that there was a need for teaching material which was not available on the market. From her broad experience and desire for pupils to learn in a fun way arose the first exercise books, which the publishing house Salvatella printed. From her facet as a writer, one of the highlights is the We want to find out collection. She is the author of a large amount of learning material, such as pre-writing, pre-reading and arts and crafts exercise books, among many others. In 2005, she received a tribute from writers from Lérida, cultural institutions and the book world.

Mireia has written collections for Salvatella with a clear educational vocation, such as Emotions, which encourage a child's emotional development or The tales of Marcos and María, which focus on developing little people's socialising behaviour and their independence.

Vicente Palacios
From the moment he was born a few metres from Vicente Solórzano's house (a pioneer in modern origami) this Burgos man was destined to be somebody important in the world of this art. His hobby became his passion when at the age of five he saw a boy fold a sheet of paper turning it into a two-seater boat. From then on, he became a tireless researcher, inventing figures which have been made famous, publishing and spreading origami around the world.
